Spirit of Net Knot
We view the truth of the world through the eye of relationship.

The implementation of the Beautiful Store’s “Sharing and Circulation” starts off with the acknowledgement of the fact that social problems such as environmental degradation caused by immoderate consumption and absolute poverty are, after all, caused by me, my life is not separated from others’, and the past, present, and future are closely connected to each other. Like the net knot that is tightly weaved by lines of latitude and longitude, <view the world through relationship> helps us realize that all of us are responsible for each other.
|

Spirit of Restoration
Circulation prolongs the life of the world.

Living creatures need not only arteries but also veins. Likewise, everything in the world can live when it is circulated. Unequal distribution of material wealth, a world, where only consumption is virtue, and a culture, where my interest comes first only hurt everyone. The Beautiful Store believes only the implementation of sharing and circulation can heal and restore all of us.

Participation and Change
Small practice can change the world

Activities of an individual may seem small. However, as the big river is made of small drops of water, “a world where everyone is happy” that the Beautiful Store wishes for will come without fail if each and everyone has interest and participate in it. The belief that donation of one item, an hour’s voluntary work, and donation of one penny can eventually change the world motivates the movement of the Beautiful Store.
