The Beautiful store is a lead social enterprise in South Korea. We are not only the first registered social enterprise but also the pioneer which opens up new markets inside and outside Korea.
The Beautiful Store has determined goals as:
1. We promote environmental awareness through recycling activities.
2. We play an important role as a Mother NGO supporting community charity activities and strengthens local grass root projects.
3. We try to give more chances to the marginalized with hiring the homeless, ex-convicts, and vulnerable women.

The Beautiful Store is the accomplished creation of public good merit and it has a successful 'value-combining' marketing plan.
The ability to effectively blend the characteristics of both nonprofit and profit organizations is the key of success for us.
Despite its humble beginning of a small shop in the corner of Seoul in 2002, The Beautiful Store has 110 shops, 5000 volunteers and approximately 7000 fair-trade handling partners in Korea in 2009.
It also owns $16.2 million worth of assets and records $23 million in profits in 2009.
The Beautiful Store is becoming symbol and paradigm for other nonprofit organizations and social enterprises in Korea.
